Mátyás, as an Honorary Associate Professor of the National University of Public Service, he has 40 years of professional experience working with public administration organization in parallel with theory, methodology and practice, as a consultant, developer, researcher and educator.

 

He is associated with local and national programs and publications in the fields of, among others, the organization of councils into local governments, administrative informatics, digital equal opportunities (IT mentor), the national network of community access (“tele-houses”), and administrative customer service and case assistance. His latest research and development areas are the social responsibility of the public sector, the transformation of local governments, and the role of public administration in embracing the digital future.

He is a tireless and eternally curious visionary innovator who has achieved groundbreaking results in the intersection of digital and social innovation. Besides taking on various positions in several public institutions IT and organizational development, he introduced the concept and practical approaches of social public responsibility (public institutions’ CSR) into Hungarian public thinking and public service practice.

 

As the founder of Tele-house (digital connectivity & access in villages), he was the president of the Hungarian Association of Tele-house, and later of the European and World Associations. He opened a new chapter in the public client service of public institutions, and the practical impacts of organizational culture on it.

His work has been recognized with numerous high-ranking awards, leader and creator of numerous university and field research projects, and many municipalities are looking for his services.
